CHAMPIONSHIP TABLES 1925   1926   1927   1928   1929   1930   1931   1932 1935   1936   1937   1938   1939 RULES: In 1935 the Association Internationale des Automobile Clubs Reconnus organized a European Drivers' Championship. That continued yearly until the 1939 Championship was interrupted by the war. AIACR never announced officially a champion for that year. The points were awarded as follows: 1 point   to 1st position 2 points to 2nd position 3 points to 3rd position 4 points to those that completed 75 % of the race 5 points to those who completed 50% of the race 6 points to those who completed 25% of the race 7 points to those who did not complete 25% of the race 8 points to those who did not start! The 1935-39 tables were compiled by Don Capps with Leif Snellman, based on information provided by Paul Sheldon and Chris Nixon, and later corrections were made by Hans Etzrodt.
